Bored Passengers OK With Dog Flying Plane
NEW YORK - Passengers in flight 842 to LAX have confirmed, while extremely unsafe and ill advised, they would be willing to let the dog on the flight fly the plane, just to see what happens.
“I mean, clearly it’s a bad idea, but still, it would definitely be interesting,” commented passenger Liz Barret. “Don’t get me wrong, I don’t particularly want a dog flying my plane, but like, it would definitely be pretty awesome. If nothing else it would be adorable.”
The pilots seemed to like the suggestion, until considering the possibility that the dog would be successful.
“These planes basically fly themselves,” one of the pilots, Jenna Schwartz, began. “So like, it’s kind of legitimately possible for the dog to fly the plane. What if the dog is good at it? We’d be out of a job. And there’s technically no rule against dogs flying planes. Yeah, no, not on board with this idea anymore. On board, however, with that pun; very on-board with that!”
Though it seems like a fun idea, apparently no one stopped to ask the only dog on the flight if he was even interested in the position, to which he gave an emphatic, “Leave me alone, I’m sleeping!”
