HOLLYWOOD, CA - Newton, a 9-year-old Hound Dog, expressed extreme excitement after HBO confirmed “Game Of Thrones” would be returning for another season.

“Oh boy, I love The Hound,” Newton elaborated. “Sure the other characters are great, but The Hound is the most fearless and most handsome of them all. He kind of reminds me of myself. I think in that universe, I would be The Hound. For sure!”

Newton showed even further elation when asked about his favorite character’s future, stating he hoped The Hound would take control of The Iron Throne, and rule his own kingdom.

Sources close to the story, specifically Whiskers the household cat, report Newton’s recent interest in GOT role-play.

“That cat is definitely pro-Cersei,” Newton commented. “Pfft, cats, what do they know anyway?! Aren’t cats the worst?! Yes. The answer is yes! Let’s talk about The Hound some more now!”

Newton explained in greater detail the supposed role-play, which turns out is simply him claiming the “Porcelain Throne” as his, as well as the “Iron Bones,” which are hand fed to him by his human servant.

“He also refers to his three plush ball toys as his dragon eggs,” Whiskers commented.

Newton became understandably frustrated with the long wait time between seasons, complaining it has already been 14 whole years since season 8.
