Typo Incorporates Dog Into Religion
NEW YORK - Daniel Dog-Lewis, a neighborhood dog, was seen as a deity by many, after a minor bout of dyslexia implied he is a holy being.
“I'm honored, but I think it's a typo,” Lewis admitted. “I can't imagine the holy scripture was supposed to read ‘We ask Dog for forgiveness, we ask Dog for mercy,’ etc. It just doesn't add up.”
Though many had suspicions, most chose not to speak up.
“I thought it was weird to pray to a pup,” began follower Brian Mallon. “But, whatever, I'll just go with it until someone else says something.”
While the scripture was clearly a typo that no one wanted to admit, whether or not the reports of a man talking to Dog on 123rd and 2nd is a typo remains unclear.
