Labyrinth of TV Wires Trap Dog
NEW YORK - Neighborhood dog, Pear, recently found himself entangled by a complex network of wires behind the TV in the living room, sources confirm.
“There is no other explanation for it,” Pear began. “They must have become sentient and tied themselves in a knot around my body and tail. There I was just minding my own business behind the TV in this tiny, dusty space, where I just barely fit, then, just like that, I'm all tied up by a bunch of cables.”
Pear’s owner, Karl, expressed annoyance more than worry at the debacle Pear has once again found himself in.
“He does this like, every week,” Karl commented. “It's a constant thing. He creeps back there, gets knotted up, and I have to unplug everything to get him untangled. He should take the hint already!”
Pear’s housemate Tails, a neighborhood cat, indicated feelings of disappointment at the constant entanglements.
“I sit here, perched on the TV,” Tails commented from her usual spot. “I watch him every time, try to fit himself behind the TV, circle around a minute, and get caught up in the wires. I musta told him a thousand times already, ‘just stop going back there dum dum.’ He never listens.”
Pear, finally heeding the constant warnings, has recently opted to move his usual hang out spot to the kitchen, behind the TV in that room.
