Dog Bored of Routine Wants to Walk Other Way
BOSTON, MA - Chance, a 6-year-old Golden Retriever, bored with the repetitive nature of his daily walk, has been looking to explore a road less traveled, sources confirmed.
“For six years we have walked the same route, every morning,” said David. “Now it’s like he’s so resistant during our morning walk. Like suddenly he realized there is more to the world than this one street, and he will not let us go the same way anymore. How does he even remember? Don’t dogs forget stuff like every few seconds?”
Chance quoted some motivational words he’d overheard in regards to altering the routine.
“David was listening to some inspirational thing, and I overheard them encourage him to get out of his comfort zone,” Chance recalled. “David means a lot to me, so if that’s what makes him happy, that’s what we should do. Also, look over there, at that huge open world, I just wanna know what’s there!”
David expressed a distinct level of confusion in regards to the particular route being substituted.
“Does he not realize we walk in a circle? If we go the other way, it’s still the same street, just the opposite direction.”
