Dog Podcast Has Over a Million Subscribers For Some Reason
NEW YORK - Neighborhood dog, Bark Maron, started a podcast in which he and the guests never once speak, just make dog noises for about 3 hours every week, and for some reason it has exploded in popularity, gaining well over a million subscribers, sources confirm.
“I don’t get it!” commented Jen Sanders, creator and host of the Movie Review Podcast. “Like, my podcast we have comedians, so it’s funny, we talk about pop culture, it’s silly and fun and exciting, and we have like 4 subscribers. Who are these millions of people tuning in to listen to dogs bark and yelp? What is wrong with people?”
Maron understands how odd the situation is, but seems unphased.
“Well, so, it doesn’t make any sense,” he began. “However, here’s the thing, we have so many endorsement deals already, and I’m not giving that up. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right? So, we spend a few hours barking into a mic every week, and now I’m rich. I make more money than my owner!”
Though Bark Maron appears to have one of the most successful podcasts ever, his success is quickly being challenged by a newcomer to the podcast game, Cats Shepard.
