NEW YORK - Puddles, a neighborhood dog experiencing seasonal affective disorder, has described his mood as being slightly off-grey as of late, sources confirm.

“He’s been just sitting around the past few days not doing much,” neighborhood dog Spot mentioned. “He doesn’t even come outside to chase cars or eat trash with us anymore. Just kinda sits there claiming he’s feeling grey, or off grey, and just can’t bring himself to do anything.”

In the past, Puddles has generally been overjoyed to go outside, run in circles, and shout at inanimate objects. Only recently has his demeanor been altered.

“I don’t know, you ever have one of those days?” Puddles began. “It’s like, usually I go out in the bright grey sun, under the bright grey sky, and eat the bright grey grass, but lately I’ve been down, just feeling a little off grey.”

Puddles’ owner has also taken notice of the situation, but has begun planning steps to combat the dark period.

“It’ll be fine, I got him a couple new toys, and the treats he likes,” Sam Mertha, his owner, stated. “I made an appointment for a grooming as well. We’ll have a spa day!”

Sources have confirmed just moments after discussing the off grey feeling, Puddles completely forgot about his issues and went right back to running in circles chasing his tail.
