Dog Knows Exactly How Cute He Is
NEW YORK - Rush, a local beagle, knows exactly how cute he is, and is not afraid to use that fact to his advantage, sources allege.
“You can tell by that look on his face. That smug look that suddenly turns to puppy dog eyes until he gets what he wants, then right back to smug and plotting,” neighbor Mara Hannit commented. “He’s diabolical.”
Several sources close to Rush, including his owner, have indicated he will turn on the charm when necessary, and instantly become irresistible.
“I can’t do anything about it. I think we’re all defenseless against the cute. It’s like cute overload,” owner Jenna Sherman remarked. “His cuteness is his super power and he definitely knows it.”
Area dogs have even begun to betray Rush’s confidence, becoming irritated with his exploitation of the natural cuteness he has harnessed and developed.
“He’s the worst. He can just flash those eyes at anyone, anytime, and get whatever he wants,” added ugly-but-not-in-the-cute-way pug, Rascal. “My owner doesn’t like to pet me, or play with me, or give me treats or anything, but she’ll give Rush literally all the treats. All of them! Anytime he comes and begs. I can do tricks! I can roll over, give you a paw. I can even bark the alphabet; what dog can do that?! He’s the worst, and he knows it!”
Lately Rush has been rumored to even flash his cuteness at local kittens for undisclosed purposes, but such facts remain unconfirmed.
