Owner Brushes Off Imminent Home Invasion
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Bear, a neighborhood St. Bernard, has been trying to warn his owner, Toby Pearson, of an impending home invasion, reports indicate.
“Every few minutes, an alarm goes off and I have to let him know that danger is approaching,” Bear stated. “Toby is my best friend and I don’t want him to get hurt!”
Other dogs in the neighborhood have been similarly defending their homes after word spread of Bear’s heroic deeds.
“I am so inspired by Bear’s bravery that I constantly break through the fence to bark at potential baddies - to scare them away,” Howard, a neighborhood dachshund added. “Despite our constant guarding, the humans seem to dislike our methods. It doesn’t matter though, they will thank us later. We love our owners so much and we vow to protect them.”
Toby, Bear’s owner, felt differently about the matter, stating, “No one wants to come to my house anymore because they are terrified of Bear and the other animals on this street. I don’t know what is happening!”
Bear had no comment on why a home indaver would make a bell type chime at the front door moments before attempting to break in, nor why Toby is constantly friendly and inviting with these questionable characters.
