Neighborhood Pug Struggles to Find New Ways to Get Out of Bath Time
Wichita, KS - Lola, a neighborhood pug, is involved in an ongoing feud with her owner about bath time, trying all methods of escape she can think of, reports indicate.
“I don’t know what her problem is. Doesn’t she realize she’s dirty?” owner Brenda Sanders commented. “It’s like, do you enjoy being dirty? Just let me wash you. I would love someone to pamper me like that! Though I commend her creativity; she constantly comes up with new and exciting ways to try to escape bath time.”
After exhausting the usual methods of wiggling and rolling, Lola was forced to take drastic measures.
“I looked down and saw all the water escaping through a tiny hole at the bottom of the sink,” Lola mentioned. “It seemed only logical I could swim through the drain, right? I didn’t get too far though, on account of I didn’t want to squish my face quite so much.”
Neighbors took notice of the constant battle, as the kitchen sink looks out through a window into their yard.
“I see it every Sunday morning,” began neighbor Rod Belkin. “That dog just does not enjoy that bath time. She will do whatever it takes to get out of it. But I’ve also gotten a closer look at her fur a few times, and dang does she need that bath desperately. It’s worth the fight to get that dog clean… I don’t even know how she gets quite so filthy in a week!”
Brenda eventually revealed a simple cute-eyes-look probably would have gotten her out of bath time from the beginning.
