The world's richest sprint dog race confirmed on Monday that February's purse will match the record $80,000 paid out in February -- with at least $1,000 of day money purses thrown in.

Today's Family Fun Day matinee at Batavia Downs features the wiener dog races. A 12-race harness card begins at 1:15 p.m., followed at about 4:20 p.m. by seven wiener dog heats staged in front of the home stretch. A championship race with the seven winners follows the qualifying.
